Cookie Kelly
My name is Kelly Mecker, but I am also known in the musician community as Cookie Kelly. I discovered my love for baking at a young age. Years later, I started bringing cookies to concerts knowing that many singer/songwriters lacked good homemade food when on the road. It always brought about happiness and created a bond that I hoped to use to further my own music career at some point.
Now age 29, I’ve pretty much decided that I will never be a successful recording artist. But, I may be able to take my love for baking and turn it into a career. I’m on a mission of self-discovery, and of self-taught baking techniques. I’m going to tackle new skills and attempt to master them on my own, no classroom, just books and internet as my teachers. Follow me and through my successes, and probably many failures, you may learn something as well.
